Lydia Bowers (she/her)

Lydia Bowers is an author and educator who comfortably exists in the Venn diagram overlap between early childhood and sexuality education. After almost two decades working directly with children as a classroom teacher, she is passionate about making difficult topics accessible to children, families, and educators.

With a Master of Science degree in Early Childhood Education (and a concentration in social-emotional learning) from Erikson Institute, Lydia brings a wealth of knowledge to professional development, speaking at conferences across the country.

Her children's book series We Say What's Okay, focused on consent foundations for preschoolers, is available now from Free Spirit Publishing.

A fan of tea and tiger's eye, she lives in southern Ohio with her spouse and two children and adds to her growing collection of children’s book character tattoos as often as she can.
